Hello bank!

2016

The Challenge

In early 2016, Hello bank!, the online bank for youngsters, asked us to enhance their brand awareness among their target audience.

After many brainstorming sessions, the pieces of the puzzle fell into place. We developed a campaign that activates, animates, and informs!

Green Idea

The ‘Hello step’ step counter app was born. No more excuses for the smartphone generation, move they will! The app urged everyone to walk as many steps as possible, every single day, in exchange for crazy prizes during any of the countless challenges or mad deals when opening a Hello4You account.

Groovy Love

You know Brand Senses, no half measures here. We launched the app at Pukkelpop 2016 at the ‘Pimp your shoes’ booth which we built from A to Z for Hello bank! This booming spot on the festival grounds gave visitors the opportunity to download the Hello step app, breathe new life into their festival sneakers with countless accessories, or simply chill out a bit. Pssst! The booth was also very sustainable: the lockers for charging smartphones, the lighting, and the screens were all driven by the sweet nectar of mother earth (solar power… duh!). Of course, that was not all. At the start of the academic year, we took the Hello bank! Tent on a five-week tour across nine Belgian student cities. In this tent we urged students to take action and walk as far as they could see. The climax of the campaign took place at the 6 different StuBru Warmathons.
