The Challenge

Werner & Mertz produces sustainable cleaning products Green Care Professional and Frosch (formerly Froggy). This German manufacturer spent the last 40 years focusing on environmental efficiency, mainly referring to the vibrant family tradition of sustainable values and convictions. Werner & Mertz asked Brand Senses to develop powerful communication for the occasion, both looking back at 40 years of history but also looking forward to their green future.

Green Idea

It is often through being decisively different and consistently shaping and substantiating one’s philosophy that one truly stands out. This is why we picked an iconic event location in Brussels: the Atomium; atypical and highly recognizable. The invitation should refer to this history, but also provide a glimpse of the future.

Groovy Love

All invitees received a Werner & Mertz box by mail containing an authentic View-Master and a reel with a series of iconic images from 40 years of Werner & Mertz, but also what is to come in the near future. The last image was of course the invitation. The fact that the Atomium’s party sphere had been turned green for the event was no surprise: thousands of green spring branches, Amaryllis blossoms, and subtle forest noises translated the family business’ DNA.

Great results

The invitees were especially enthusiastic about these creative invitations and the festive green setting in the Atomium. Meanwhile we made sure to send all invitees a new View-Master reel with their pictures from the event, and with the following steps in the future of Werner & Mertz.
Thus, the iconic View-Master continues to offer us a glimpse of what the future has to offer.
