This is our statement. And fortunately we do not stand alone. Sustainable enterprise is the answer to the major challenges of today. We help companies and organizations stay socially relevant, and communicate this fact in an effective manner. How can you out-green the competition? Read all about it in our book. Of course we also involved people, companies, and brands who boost our message.
And yes, we made sure this publication is sustainable: Either you believe our vision is worth keeping or passing on, or you simply put it in the ground. The biological materials from which the book is made are degradable, producing attractive flowering plants!
Has the seed of interest been planted? Great, then you can get to work immediately.
How to grow your Mirabilis jalapa into a large and fragrant wonderful flower which has various flower colours and is surrounded by moths?
Mirabilis jalapa can be sown indoors from April, or sown or planted outdoors from May. The first flowers appear in July and the plant blooms until October. The flowers give off a delightful Mediterranean scent, which is also loved by moths.
The flowers of the Mirabilis jalapa open only in the afternoon and evening. Hence, it is popularly called ‘the four o’clock flower’.
Mirabilis jalapa is not winter-hardy. After the first frost, it is recommended to remove the tuber from the ground in order to let it hibernate in a dry and frost-free place during the winter. In spring (May), it can be planted again so it can continue to grow.
The plant is fast-growing, strongly branched and grows up to 60 to 90 cm high. Its colour varies from crimson to yellow and white.
Good luck with your green experience!
